GENERAL INFORMATION

The RS3 Series Load Cell is manufactured for the instantaneous and precise control of web tension occurring in winding and unwinding rollers. As an operating principle, the end of the roller is mounted via a bearing placed in the housing on the load cell. The force exerted on the roller during the winding or unwinding process is sensed by the load cell and transmitted to the system. In this model, the use of a 2203-coded self-aligning ball bearing is recommended for high performance and long life. The body structure is produced from special alloy aluminum and anodized to increase corrosion resistance. This coating also provides the product with an industrial and aesthetic appearance. Furthermore, its plug-and-play connector structure allows for fast installation and easy service opportunities in the field.
