The RS1 Series Load Cell is manufactured specifically to monitor the instantaneous tension of materials (such as paper, textiles, plastic film, etc.) on winding and unwinding rollers. Its operating principle is highly practical: the end of the roller is mounted via a bearing—specifically, a 1203-coded self-aligning ball bearing is recommended—placed into the housing on the load cell. This allows the tensile force applied to the roller during the winding or unwinding process to be directly sensed and transmitted to the system. Its special alloy aluminum body is both made resistant to corrosion through an anodized coating and given an aesthetic appearance suitable for industrial environments. Thanks to its plug-and-play connector structure, it accelerates installation and maintenance processes, thereby minimizing downtime.
