The Antistatic IML Sponge, the most critical contact point of static charging apparatus, is a special semi-conductive material resistant to high voltage. By distributing the energy from the static charging generator homogeneously across the surface of the label, it ensures perfect adhesion in in-mold labeling (IML) processes.

GENERAL INFORMATION

These semiconductor sponges, specially produced by Puls Elektronik, offer a professional solution not only for Puls devices but for all static charging applications in the industry. IML sponges act as a "soft conductor" between the static charging bar or pin and the label.

Thanks to its structure resistant to puncturing under high voltage, it has a very long service life when the correct physical conditions are provided and usage rules are followed. Since it creates electrostatic interlocking without applying mechanical pressure during the placement of the label into the mold, it damages neither the label nor the mold.
