Paper Folding Machine Static Application
Static electricity in paper folding machines causes many problems These problems are mostly because two or more paper sheets adhering to each other due to the disruptive static charge. In this case, the machine will cause paper stackings and machine stoppage, which will result in improper production. Paper folding and packing is one of the problematic points. Friction formed during paper folding causes the formation of a disruptive static electricity on the paper surface. This is an undesirable situation because it causes wrong folding
In order to eliminate these two main problems, the static charge is neutralized by attaching two or more air-blown static nozzles depending on the type of paper for the ourpose of eliminating the static electricity formed on the paper station at the entrance section of the machine. Thanks to the static nozzle, the sticking of the paper to each other is prevented and a problem-free production is achieved. Later on, the paper's anti-static bars connected to the conveyor belt entry point and the exit point of the folding ensure a smooth production without problematic as well as disturbing static electricity from the inlet, transfer and outlet points of the machine are prevented.
