Static Application in Plastic Parts Painting Static electricity damage can not be ignored when painting plastic parts. The plastic parts are cleaned with a cloth at the entrance of the painting and placed in the conveyor. It is observed that when the electrostatic charge is generated on the parts, dust particles entering into this static area adhere to the surface of the part and leave markings under the paint leading the paint not completely homogeneously disperse on the surface when the static electricity is applied to the surface. This is resulting into an undesirable situation, as the products will return from the production line, increase in labor cost and waste of time. In the Fıgure, the ionization of television cabinets is shown. Pulselectronic ACK-H2SF Air Blower creates an ionized air curtain at the transition point of the cabin when placed as shown. The parts passing through this area are purified from static electricity and the problems of dusting and static electricity are avoided.
